Cristin’s Adventures is about living creatively and traveling with openness and presence. To me, being fully present is what makes travel so meaningful because that’s when the joy of discovery really comes alive.

Over the years, I’ve explored dozens of countries, taught countless students, and continued learning along the way. My work spans children’s books, travel stories and guides, audio and video projects, as well as courses designed to spark change and momentum.

This site began as a travel blog and has grown into a wider collection of books, videos, and courses, all inspired by the same spirit of curiosity and transformation. At the center of it all is a love of discovery and growth, whether through teaching, storytelling, or simply noticing the amazing details of everyday life on the road.

    My name is Kristen and I am writing to you from an American television show about people moving abroad. I came across your blog and I thought I would get in touch to tell you a bit about our program and see if you might be interested in being on our show.

    Our program tells the story of people who have picked up their lives and moved to foreign and exotic locations to pursue a new life. Being on our show is a lot of fun for our participants and a great way for them to document their exciting search for a home and new life abroad.

      2. Just do your post in the same way I did mine. You can use my post as an example and model that. The logo doesn’t have to go on your homepage, but in a blog post like mine! Hope this helps!

Cristin, I used to work in Finnigans hostel, and I’m so glad you wrote this review because it’s so true, and you touched on something that really really bothered me in the year I spent working there; this lady hires the most defenseless and vulnerable people to work for her so she can completely abuse and take advantage of what is in most cases just a desperate need for money. She paid us well under minimum wage, and that was after her ‘training period’ during which she’d have newcomers work indefinitely, 4-5 days perhaps on ‘trial’ when she wouldn’t pay them at all. The vast majority of workers are teenagers or people with poor English who simply can’t stand up to her. I could tell you stories about her bullying and abuse that would shock you; she should not be running a business. Good luck in your travels, I’m sorry you we’re put through that ordeal, and thank you for shedding a little light on this disaster of a place!
